Hello, world. Again.

I started blogging when blogging was the hot new thing. I wrote a lot. Then not as much as my time was taken by various start-up adventures. But I've always loved to write, share thoughts and lessons learned in the hope that others might benefit.
So, after 25 years building, advising and investing in technology companies, I've collected a lot of notes on what works and what doesn't. This is where I'll share them. I'll also share life lessons, my take on what's happening in the world, and basically anything I feel like writing about and putting out to the world.
I'm a kid of the '80s. A teenager of the '90s. And I started my career in 2000 when tech was for nerds and the dot-com bubble shook the world. I've been in tech since tech was for the nerds and made my bones through the grind like many of my friends and colleagues. That experience is priceless, and so is the network I'm fortunate to have built with people who have done the same.
So, if you stick around here, expect my unfiltered take on all things.
